Radio rom version? I'm pretty sure BT is more of a Radio issue...

Decision Time
Thanks to everyone...I've narrowed is down to the Moto Q Global or staying with my "old school" Samsung SCHi730. I've been using the Samsung for the past two years, and surprisingly, the Bluetooth seems to work in the new G.
So how does it work: my 2 year contract was up in Feb 08, and the bill has been going to my old employer...can I just transfer the bill to the new employer and not owe anything on the PDA itself?
It's either that or go with the Moto....but there is something to be said for not having to learn a brand new phone/PDA.

Having owned both, hands down the MotoQ is the better phone. There's no comparison really. It's not a PocketPC though. It's a smartphone, and it's a much better phone than the i730. It doesn't have all of the issues that the i730 has like frequent crashes when people call, etc., and it's very easy to use single handed. It has a great keyboard that is nice and big. It will take you a little while to get used to not having a stylus, but once you figure out the whole smart phone OS - or Windows Mobile Standard OS if you like, it's very nice. The MotoQ is also somewhat faster, and has a much newer OS version with some significant advantages - in particular if your company uses MS Exchange. One example that has helped me a lot is that you can now schedule meetings from the smartphone, check names against your GAL, list attendees of an Outlook meeting, and so on.

Thanks, Tamir
That's very good input. I've always thought the Samsung i730 was a better pocket PC than phone. I used to be a first gen blackberry addict so the stylus and Windows Mobile 5.0 was something I never did really get used to. Using a stylus seems ancient today when everybody around me has a touch screen!

Last July...
...I was looking for a PDA to replace my three year old Samsung i730 running Windows 5.0. I finally upgraded earlier this month, and the new one seems to work perfectly with our Infiniti Bluetooth system. It's the new HTC Touch Pro, running on the Sprint network and with Windows 6.1. It received the best technical reviews of the three Touch Pro models out there (AT&T and VZ). Everything I wanted in a Smartphone. Sprint TV works much better than I thought it would....wish I could engineer a way to watch it on the nav screen (while parked, of course).

I have the Sprint mogul, and it sucks with my G..... I LOVE the phone, (had the 6700, 700w, and mogul). But it just doesn't work with my G well, in order to get it to work right, i would have to call, click use handset, then click phone, and it'll be crystal clear... But if i didn't it would sound horrible, and the person on the other end couldn't hear me...
