OK, so I have an '08 G35, tell me what I'm doing wrong. I thought with the car in park and the parking break engaged you could play video via the AUX input. I have an ipod nano with video on it, I bought an A/V cable at best buy that has a single input into the ipod and then 3 inputs (white, red and yellow) that I plugged into the aux input in the center console. Hit play on the ipod I only get sound out of the car speakers, no video on the center monitor. Am I doing something wrong?

Is it the dock connector (the wide ipod specific connector)? or just a headphone jack looking one? U need the authentic apple one with the hd optional one or whatever. And ya set ur ipod to video out.

 

^ agreed, you need to have the connection that connects to the I-pod from the bottom and not that headphone jack, also is it MP4?

 

How often do you watch videos on the NAV monitor, I rarely use this feature. I think I only used it when I wanted to see if it works but ever since then, I have never used it
