iPhone mount

Has anybody found a good iPhone mount for our car? Most of the ones I find are the glas mounted ones. Since I use mine for my music, I want it to be somewhere easily accessible but out of the way at the same time.

I found this one...wondering if anybody has used something like this before. I like that it mounts to the floor, and comes up right near the center console.

This is what I'm using for my iPhone 3G. It's not listed to work with the 3G, but it works fine. I just have to answer the pesky question that says it's not compatible.

It works great for me. I wish it tilted sideways. I cant rest my wrist on the shift **** and the touch screen is a snap. For me it puts it in just the perfect spot so I don't have to reach. I use a zip-linq cable to attach to the car. I'm sure there is something better available.

Aeson...those ones look just like what I'm looking for. Something I don't have to dismantle anything, but stay out of the way. Do you have the one that goes next to the shifter or on the dash by the CD player? How does the iphone stick to it?

I haven't ordered yet... waiting for a free $70 to burn a hole in my pocket first.
You need two pieces... the vehicle mount and the device mount.
The vehicle mount is the piece that clips into the car's trim. It then becomes the mounting point for whatever device holder you purchase.

I plan on going with the piece that clips into the right side of the center stack. I like the one down low near the shifter, but it looks like it's gonna get bumped by knees a lot.
I plan on getting the swivel receiver for the iPhone, and make sure to order the one that receives iPhones with a cover if you have a case on yours... so it's wide enough to hold it.

I have an Incase Slider cover on mine so I'll need the extra room.

Below is the mount I use for my Iphone 3G:http://www.proclipusa.com/?sectionpa...p_leftorright=

It works great. I have used these mounts for several of my Cell Phones. The vehicle clip is real easy to install.
