Musicbox Question

After about 4 or 5 months of ownership, I am starting to use some of the toys, such as the Bluetooth setup and the Musicbox. The Musicbox question I have though, is when I hit "search by album", I still get the list of songs. Should I not get the list of the album titles and the I can select which album I want to play? Have I done something wrong in setting up or am I asking the wrong question? I can't search by artist because all I have in there right now is Pink Floyd.

I did search through the owners book but that's what lead me to believe that I can get a list of albums.

Thanks...

Mike

You state you can't search by artist since you only have Pink Floyd? Well do you only have only one album as well?

My actual problem is i can't search by *album*. I have 4 or 5 separate albums in it at the moment.

And, yes, I realize that I can't search by artist if I only have one artist in the box. That *was* a joke.

Are you trying to do this with the car in motion? If so you are locked out after the car starts moving.

Ah, ha!! That could very well be the problem. I don't recall trying to search with the car stopped but I'll try that tomorrow. I suppose looking through all your choices while buzzing at 60mph really wouldn't be such a good idea, huh.

Thanks...

I have my opinions on the safety issue for two reasons. One I find it may create a bigger safety issue to try to use other methods. The same with nav functions greyed out for the same reasons. In the case of audio what gets me is how closed off the Music Box is while how open the iPod is. What makes the iPod so much safer to use than the Music Box?

Now if you really want to use it while in motion you do have the ability of using voice commands for much of what you may want to do with the dash controls with the car in motion.
