Hi,

I just purchased the latest ipod touch, and besides the known problem of not being able to charge without the adapter, it will get stuck when trying to navigate to a song, or, it will not let you select the song/artist, etc...

I tried plugging in my son's older ipod touch, and he has the same problem in my car.

Any suggestions would be appreciated! :-)

Probably your cable. If the ipod is updated. Have you tried other cable?

 

I finally gave up on using my iPod touch, I bought an iPod Classic and I have had no issues since...my main issue was the car not recognising the iPod touch...it was always "disconnected."

 

I had the same problem. I have had both an ipod touch and an iphone and both have the same issues. If I scroll too much through the menu system on the nav screen to access my ipod - it will lock up and not let me do anything but continue to scroll. EXTREMELY annoying but I have yet to find a fix besides letting the ipod continuously play on random.

 

Bummer. Thanks all for replying. Guess I'll have to use my old ipod for car.
