Thank you. Please do. I just got mine and from the website it said 09-10 Navigation Update (also said that on the confirmation email).

When I hit info now, it says 08-09 Year. Why not "09-10"?

There is another thread somewhere on this very subject, a search would have found it.

the 08-09 version is the one that was released last January

I was hoping to get people's observations who have recently done it, i.e those who might have gone through the same process as me....in hopes of discovering if when navigation.com says 09-10...if that's what they mean or if there's an actual error in what I got.

A search might not do that, but I'll look....just in case.

 

I'm going to have the 09-10 update done in the next week or so. My 09 that was built in Dec of 08 has the 08-09 version

 

That's what I thought. So its either a mistake by the dealer or false advertising. Either way it looks as if a change needs to be made; either to my car or my bank account

 

Just checked. Mine says "09-10Year"

So, I think Rutland needs to go back to the dealer....

just got a call from the dealer (ironically) and the guy said the 09-10 update has been on the manager's desk since Dec 18th, i.e. it hasn't been loaded on their system yet. He said he got a new code for me and said I should just come by when I have time.

So, I'm slightly updated now and slightly irritated that I have to go back in.

Sweet part is the tech never once apologized, he actually seemed somewhat annoyed that I couldn't come by until next weekend probably.

Is this update going to allow the previous G models to have the Zagat guide or the streaming bluetooth audio? These are all software based upgrades because I know for a fact the current software version allows for bluetooth streaming using iphones because I've stumbled on the ability to do that. I'm really trying to figure this out because A2DP functionality would be great.
