Sudden bluetooth problems! :(
Sudden bluetooth problems! :(
Hey guys, my bluetooth has been working until just a few days ago. Now, every time my phone pairs with my 07 G35x, the second it's paired, the car shows "dailing" or something along those lines. I will have the radio on when the car starts, and then the second pairing happens, again...it's dialing. This is all despite my cell phone not showing that it's dialing anything (my cell is a Blackberry tour through verizon fyi). I have no idea what's going on. I had to disable bluetooth on my phone just so that I could listen to the radio in the car.
On a side note--not sure if this is related, but I feel like my seating/steering wheel positions were reset (this was a few days after the bluetooth problem started). There's a very slight chance I'm imagining this, but when I sat in the car today, my seat was too far back. Maybe I accidentally did something though...but I had to readjust everything.
Any help (primarily with the bluetooth problem) would be appreciated!

I'm using the Tour 9630 and the bluetooth synching with my G35 and it has been extremely shaky, and seemed to suddenly go bad. It was working fine for a while, but now the pairing is schizophrenic. When I go to pair the phone, it pairs OK, then immediately disconnects. Subsequent tries will either back the berry or the car go into a waiting mode for the other.
ECU reset will help?
Similar issue here.

Infiniti bluetooth support said the Tour isn't officially supported because of random disconnects, but I'm not sure why it worked flawlessly for so long. Curve 8900 and 8330 also exhibit the same behavior.
They recommended I bring it to the dealership.
Hmmm..well there was an update to my firmware on my phone I just downloaded--maybe if you get it this will help?

Am updated to the max. 2 other phones also not pairing properly anymore. Gotta be something wrong with the car, methinks.
I just got my 07 G35S about two weeks ago, and the bluetooth for my Tour 9630 was working fine since then. However, a couple of days ago, the bluetooth system started acting a little weird, too.
When I would make a call through the console, it would try to start the call forever, then just quit and return back to the previous screen. And now, when I try to call from my phone, the console will stop the music and try to dial for about 2 seconds, then return back to the music. I don't know what's going on, but I'm reading up on resetting the ECU right now to see if that will help out.
If I make any progress I'll let you guys know!
UPDATE:
I actually just popped out the battery for about 15 minutes and re-paired my phone. Everything is up and running again. I guess no ECU reboot required.
