I have a 2008 G35x with the premium and Nav packages. I connect my 1st generation iPod touch through the car's interface using the Infiniti cable.

Here's my problem: I can Navigate through the menus fine from the top menu (where you can select: Playlist, Artist, Album, etc.). However, when on the screen that shows the currently playing song, I cannot back out and select a new artist. I can scroll through my artists, but when I hit enter, the selection lights up normally, but does not open that artists available albums.

To fix this, I have to navigate back through menus to the top menu first (Playlist, Artist, Album, etc) then select artist and navigate back down to my desired artist.

This is extremely annoying if you have a large library.

Does anyone have a solution to this? I have tried a hard reset of my iPod, plugging the iPod in before I start the car and turning off autolock. All to no avail.
