New Sub in the trunk.
Hey guys, I am currently looking for some extra bass. I have been looking to put a single JL 12w3v3 in the trunk. As we all know that there aren't any custom make sing sub box for the sedan, I had to compromise to save some extra space.
I have came across this, http://www.crutchfield.com/s_136S112...v3.html?tp=112 and am wondering what do you guys think? I can get it at about 60% of that price. It is a very compact box and it is from JL, so the measurement of air inside should be better than another random slim box that I buy from other retailer.
Second, I am thinking of getting the JL 250/1 amp for this, I am only looking for just enough bass to complement the Bose and not overly loud bass, if this is not enough, what else do you guys suggest? I am trying to get the best bang for the buck with this sub set up. So any other suggestions on other set up will be very helpful. Thanks in advance.

Well there are already a few good DIY around, but I can definitely try to do one, it is not as hard as I thought it would be.
After some research, you pretty much just need to run power wire from the battery to the amp, find a ground spot for the ground wire of the amp, tap the remote wire of the amp into the "turn on" wire of either the OEM sub amp or the OEM speaker amp, then tap RCA wire to the OEM speaker amp to one of the speaker (channel), one to positive and one to negative. Then you just need to organize everything else together.
