I have 07 G35 but keep wondering if there is a way to install 08 iPod integration into 07. Has this been done before??? I just want to be able to control, charge, and view my playlist/library on the screen.

I may talk to parts dept. to see what is needed. I hope it’s just a harness and not expensive module or other components.

unfortunately it will likey be more than just a harness required. i'm not sure what trim level you have in your G but likely it would require a complete headunit swap, which also requires changes to the harnesses in the dashboard, so not an easy task. i lament not having full ipod control.

there are other routes obviously, the USAspec adapter, the iSimple adapter (both of which i have for sale in the classifieds - wink wink), the GROM adapter (which requires you to disconnect your XM radio, using a parrot bluetooth module with ipod harness....you have options here....all of which control the ipods fairly well in my opinion. the parrot offers the best/easiest control but does not display on the stereo screen. a quick jaunt through the search engine will definitely reveal more information that you could need im sure.

ok well i want to believe you can add the ipod control but i haven't looked into it much since i have a base model. i know it's been asked before though so maybe there is already a thread here or someone who can help.
