Anybody experienced this before?

I can't figure out how and when this would happen. But sometimes, my CD card would go back to the 1st song in he 1st folder without memorizing the last song before the engine stop.

How to avoid this from happening?

 

I think this just happened to me the other day. I always turn off the audio and hvac before killing the engine. This time, I didn't and the music came on suddenly with the 1st song of the 1st folder at the next startup. See if it still happens when you turn the audio system off prior to turning off the engine. I think it may have something to do with properly stopping the flash based device, which is what CF obviously is.
