Bluetooth won't connect to phone

So I got a new phone a few months ago but haven't bothered to try and connect it to my car with bluetooth. It just states that a device can't be found, or something along those lines when I try to connect. The bluetooth is enabled on my phone.

The phone is a Motorola Razr Maxx HD. I don't remember doing anything different with my old Mororola Droid 2 when I bought the car, but I didn't really pay too much attention when I was setting it up with the dealer.

Anyone got any ideas/solutions on how to get it to connect?

I have a RAZR M, and I had trouble connecting until Verizon released the 4.1.2 update for the phone. It works a lot better. Have you updated your phone yet?

Yea, I have been running 4.1.2. Hasn't worked with that or 4.1.1.
