Adding aftermarket subs wiring Before or After Bose amp?

I just wanted to get the best available way to hook up an aftermarket subwoofer and amplifier system. 07 G35x with Bose for the cleanest/clearest sound.

Do i splice in BEFORE the Bose amp with no converter?
OR

Do i splice in AFTER the Bose amp with the converter?

Thanks in advance I know that this topic has been discussed years back but I wanted to get peoples advice on someone who maybe even had tried it both ways.
Or why did you choose one or the other?

You'll get the cleanest sound from the pre-amp signal before it gets processed by the amp / eq. It's pretty much the case with all car audio not just ours. I saw somewhere that the stock head unit put out a nice flat signal too. The only odd thing was that the bass output appeared to be controlled in the amp itself not in the head unit. So if you do go pre-amp and want the ability to adjust the bass output from the front seat get an amp with a remote bass ****.

Good luck. I'll be posting a build thread soon. Going with new 3-ways components up front, 15" subs in an infinite baffle with 3 amps powering it all.
