aftermarket audio question

aftermarket audio question
i have a 2007 g35x tech pkg with bose studio on wheels at what volume does the headunit start distorting or should I just put the volume at 3/4 and tune my gains on the amp that way

It starts to clip at 3 clicks from max volume. Keep it at 4 clicks from max and you'll be good.
