aftermarket audio question

aftermarket audio question
i have a 2007 g35x tech pkg with bose studio on wheels at what volume does the headunit start distorting or should I just put the volume at 3/4 and tune my gains on the amp that way

I'm pretty sure this has been asked so hopefully someone will answer you but you may also want to check over at myg37.com because they may have talked about this as well.

It starts to clip at 3 clicks from max volume. Keep it at 4 clicks from max and you'll be good.
