analog clock issue
analog clock issue
Hi - I've noticed that my analog clock in my 08 G35x has started to move faster than normal. It seems to be moving about 2-3 minutes faster per hour. I'm constantly adjusting the time but it's not helping Anyone ever experienced this and do you happen to know a fix for it? Thanks in advance!

Since it's actually a digital clock (made to look analog), I'd say you're going to need to replace it. Try ebay or a local wrecker.

EDIT: here's a quick find on ebay. It's for the whole assy, but the clock part should be removable and common among most V36 models. http://www.ebay.com/itm/08-09-Infini...4d80db&vxp=mtr
(the clock portion alone runs about $300 new)

It's more than likely your flux capacitor. Every time you go over 88mph you actually start to move forward thru time - hence your clock moving forward...we know you've been driving too fast now.
did you ever figure this out? mine does the same exact thing! it drives me crazy. it's always anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour ahead, depending how long its been since ive driven the car.

Solved my fast analog clock issue
This "fast clock" issue bugged our 2008 G35X for months.
I finally spent a few hours of research and solved the problem w/our analog clock.
1) disconnected negative on battery for 10 minutes.
2) reconnected negative.
3) clock no longer ran fast.
Might or might not work if you're having the same problem, but will only cost you 15 minutes of your time to find out.
