How hard are these to install, is this somehting I can spend a hour or two doing in my own garage. Or should get a local shop to bolt it on. With it being only 300 bones and a few of you guys saying it was a great upgrade on your other cars i am ready to {add to cart}

ive done full suspension installs in my cousins garage. you just need the right tools and a couple jack stands! although it DOES take longer since you have to do one side at a time, i doubt the sway bars should take more than an hour each.

ok guys, i just got off the phone with stillen. the rep told me that theyre the same diameter as the stock ones BUT theyre thicker tubes (not as hollow, thicker walls) and theyre adjustable (the rear ones atleast). afaik, $300 for frotn and rear sway bars is a steal! i remember paying $200 for JUST the rear one on my a4.

Much more firm. I have mine on the stiff setting. The stillen bars are much heavier. I was suprised when we took out the stock ones...

So if the front is not adjustable, what is it? Firm, medium, or soft? So if it's soft (for example), what happens when you set your rear to firm?

I would be interested in these because i'm all about the firm ride, but am curious what the front is set at. Oh, you said "much more firm" - do you like the ride better than the stock sport 6mt setting? Thanks in advance...

I am adjusting them to the softer setting in the rear. I definitely did not like the response over 100mph. Stillen said you can have one on the closer hole and the other on the farther hole for the medium setting. Does that make sense or has anyone done this? Would this not make one side softer than the other?

what exactly was the problem over 100? Was it to stiff to the point where it feels like if you hit a small bump you would lose control?

Besides that how was the stiff setting in terms of handeling and ride under 100? Was it way stiffer for the actually ride quality and was the handeling alot better?

Thats exactly what I experienced over 100mph. Under 100mph, I feel like the traction control is stepping in much more often on turns due to wheel spin. Is that normal?
