VDC and quick tight turns don't mix

 

well on the VDC note, it was snowing really hard and i found it was much easier to drive with vdc off in the snow, at least i can accelerate and don't lose al my power sudenly like mid turn. the awd is amazing.

 

So I am considering the Akebono brake upgrade, EverythingG35 has the entire kit for $1399.
Is it worth the change from the stock brakes to these? Price seems pretty reasonable for the kit, just wanted to get updated opinions on those who have changed out or those who have the G37s. thanks

 

More practical than JDM tails!

 

Well if you don't track, then no not worth it but it'll look sweet.

 

lol terry. the jdm tails are strictly for safety, better to see when turning.
same for the brake upgrade, strictly for safety.

how much of a weight increase are we looking at if upgrading from the g35 sport brakes? i'd definitely consider these brakes when mine wear out, but if it adds too much weight then its not worth the extra cost in price...has anybody weighed them and compared them to the stock sport brakes?
