Need Advice ASAP regard 19 g37 wheels mounting to 07 g35 sedan.

Got my rims this morning and dropped them off at Goodyear this am. They just called and said that a bolt on the front brakes is stopping the wheels from going all the way on. has anybody else had this issue? Is it going to cause problems if this bolt is removed???

You can fit 245 in the front and 275 in the rear for the OEM G37S rims.

The bolt just keeps people from rotating the rear rims/tires to the front. It causes absolutely no problem when removed. Been driving w/o the front bolt for 10 mos.

Thanks guy! When i got to the shop they had figured it out, without having to remove the bolt.. ( i think they were trying to mount the rears to the front). The service manager tryed to explain that the bolt was some how attached to the brakes but it didnt look like it needed to be there. Anyway! Its done and it looks great.

wow, what kind of shop did you go to? are you sure they mounted the right size tires on the right rims?

I mean, it's a tire business, thats what they do - how do they not notice they're putting the wrong wheels on the front? I wouldn't go back there man. go make sure they mounted the tires right, directionals and etc.

glad you went ahead and got them, just search - there's tons of threads about the wheels. I even started a "g37 wheel photos" thread...

Curious on this upgrade. Has anyone compared the weights vs the stock 18" Sport sedan wheel/tire combo? The OEM 18"s were made by Enkei, but who made these G37 stockers?

they weigh more, but it's not ridiculous. It's nothing you'll notice

IIRC, it was Enkei also. The difference in weight is negligible.

what bolt are you guys talking about? when i put my fronts on, i did not notice any issue. Now you guys are making me nervous, b/c i have been riding on the 19s with the 'bolt' on.

^ surprised at that...
The G37S 19s should be made to accept the bolt.
I would think the bolt is also used on the coupe.

Intgr8r, he is referring to a bolt on the front brake; not the bolts to mount the wheels on. If this brake-bolt is in the way, is the wheel going to brake it off or cause harms when i drive? This is what concerns me.

Again, i did not notice any issue when i mounted the wheels on, but can never be too sure. My G is the 2008 model, so not sure if that makes a diff. Thanks!
