E-brake light

So I'm driving home from work last night, and my e-brake light comes on on my dashboard for a few seconds, then magically goes off again. Have any of you experienced this before????

Before you ask, NO, my emergency brake wasn't on, nor was my foot even close to touching it. I was driving in Manual mode, accelerating quickly on an on-ramp. It kinda freaked me out when it happened, but it went off like 2 seconds later.

I have a little over 12k miles. Brakes are probably wearing out (I just had to replace my tires b/c of how I drive).
Bringing the car in for an oil change soon, I'll have them check the brake fluid then.
Thanks for the help

low brake fluid - check it and refill it.

happens to me all the time. when you accelerate the sensor detects low brake fluid because it is "sliding back" as you accelerate. Inifinity's fault, they should have put the sensor in the back, not the front. you dont have to be acclerating that hard either. check your fluid, but most likely you will be in the "safe area" or in between the max line and refill line.
