All Season Tires for X

I have been going back and forth on what to do with getting new tires on my 2007 G35x. My original plan was to get Dunlop Winter Sport M3s and a new set of wheels but after speaking to a guy at work about his Goodyear Eagle F1 All-Seasons I was thinking of getting a set of ultra-high performance all-seasons instead.

What have all the X owners been doing out there in the NE.

I think the tire may be Goodyear Eagle GT. Any thoughts/comments?

Goodyear Eagle GT are my first choice as well for now ... it used to be Kumho Esa's ASX but it seems like they are horrible in the winter

Right now I am thinking I have enough thread on stock Goodyears to make it through the winter, but dislike them so much that I am thinking of upgrading early. My choice would be Yokohama W. drive. It doesn't have too many reviews but the few I've read were positive. The tire is listed as a winter tire but has temperature changing properties that allow it to be used as an all-season tire. I am still on the fence re. buying new tires since I have a few other budget priorities, but if I was living in New England, snowbelt states or Canada it would be a no-brainer. The best deal re. getting it that I've found was through discount tire direct off ebay using live.com cashback.

I did what you were originally thinking.
I run Blizzaks on my OEM 17s for winter and 245/45/18 Pilot Sport All Season tires on my PIAAs for Spring, summer and Fall. They are classed as a ultra high performance All Season but I still want winters for the added braking and handling they give over All Sesons during icy and snowy conditions.

Check out the Bridgestone Potenza 960AS Pole Position. Those are the best all season tires on the market!

However, I've heard the tread on the Continental ContiExtremeContact might have a good tread for snow...
