Exclamation EverythingG35-G37S Akebono Sport Brake Retrofit Kit

It's about time for a brake job considering putting ~37k miles and hearing a bit of break squeal and feeling moderate vibration.

Has anyone on the boards purchased the G37S Akebono Sport Brake Retrofit Kit from Everything G35?
http://www.g35parts.com/9083/osc/pro...3feb735d869abc
If so I'd like to hear feedback on the purchase and results with details.

THANKS in advance.

I have the G37s brakes on my 05 coupe I just got them installed recently and I love them, I got them from concept z performance.

Braking compared to my stock 05's is much better, they bite down hard and look really good

do you *really* need to upsize your rims to fit these? I'd actually be tempted to get them if they fit under my stock sport rims

they don't fit under the stock 18"s...that's why they redesigned the g37 sedan sport wheels...they could possibly fit with spacers though...

It does seem like a good deal, but you need new wheels.

IMO that is now the best budget BBK on the market for the G's.

Considering they come as an option now, I can't imagine clearance issues being more than 5-10mm... right?

I've had my eye on the kit at Everything G35 for some time now.
My wife asked me what I wanted for Christmas and I told her all I needed was my brake kit... she got me Apple TV instead. LOL

Sooner or later, I'll have to launder a little bit of the family budget and pull the trigger. The stock rotors on the X suck!
