The gap doesn't change with 19's... that's the problem.
I'm running 245/40/19 which is the same outside diameter.

You're right, with 19's on the car, the gap is that much more disturbing.

I'm SOOOOOOO sorry for hesitating back when the Impuls were only $400

They use to be 400 bucks!?? I didnt know that.

If I was to order these impuls from japanparts, it would be 560 and then 275 for shipping.. and then probably another 150 for duty.

So whats that... close to $1000? :S Canadian dollars that is...

Then I still need to go and get it installed! Thats another 150 at least.. :S

Im hoping maybe my M rims will distract me from the gaping gap and just be happy with 19's versus my 17's.. maybe that will keep me happy for a while..

and lets not forget.. since im "CF boy" (according to AesonVirus)... maybe the CF will distract me further. haha

I already drive my car like it's dropped real low. lol
I'm used to driving low cars like Porsches and stuff so its become a habit. The only thing I need to watch out for when I drop my car on H&R's is when parking the car, gotta watch out for the curb

haha exotic cars lose their charm over time dude.
Nothing better than driving a simple car that you love like the G.
Or building an old school car

LOL... its hard for exotic cars to lose their charm with me cuz all I ever see of em is on car magz or on the internet and the rare times I see em on the road.

But yes... back to the G. Its awesome. More awesome with a drop. Minus the running into potholes and manholes and what nots. lol

I'm dropped on Eibachs and don't think its really THAT low. I guess coming from smaller and lower sport compact cars, I've always spotted oncoming potholes, dips and speed bumps way ahead of time to drive over it accordingly. The G in stock form already has problems passing over some parking stones/curbs so I already started to guesstimate how far away I need to park from them.

If you guys have issues with a lowered G now, I guess you guys would hate to drive Ferrari's or Lambo's (thats if we could ever afford one)....lol

if you guys are that worried about it, don't drop it, even impuls will be too low. you won't get the stock feel with impuls either, just about 1/2 to 3/4 inch higher.

You have to be prepared for some "ouches" and "ahh shhit's" and let me tell you that you will get them. If you want your stock feel, and ability to clear those road glaciers or curbs, don't drop it. Mines dropped, I'm used to it, all my other cars were dropped, you will have to sacrifice the ability to drive without care (stock).

I drove in a snow storm this morning.. we got about 12" of snow.
My car was bottoming out on everything all the way in and I wondered just how much worse it would have been if I had dropped

Find me some coilovers that fit the X, damn it!

FYI, Lou from Amped has JICs in stock. I'm thinking this is the way I'm going to have to go, since nothing else is available atm.

I'm not dropped, but if I park next to a curb and open the door sometimes the door barely clears the curb (I try to hug the curb in a parking lot to avoid door dings on the other side). I'm sure that's much worse with a drop.
