1ST GEN suspension on 2 gen suspension. bolt-on

Ok.. i just spend the whole early morning looking to see if the 1st gen suspension actually can bolt-on to our 2 gen g35.. when i mean bolt-on i mean.. taking out from the 1gen and just putting onto the 2nd gen.. will the strut hat bolt onto the g35 2 gen strut will the 1 gen strut bolt onto the 2nd gen... rear and front.. if there is a tech from infiniti reading this please see if the part can be cross match.. thanks guys.. i am thinking of a new suspension sway.. if the parts can be cross match then i can have 2 sets of suspension cause since i'm in canada now winter i need the height and summer i can slam it down and ride around for a few months before i have to put on the winter setup.. its a pain but hey.. it looks good.. and i dont wan to get stuck in the snow.. hahahahha.. thanks in advance..

not following your logic at all.

- every time you change height, your alignment will also change
- if you're dropped already why not use the OE you took out
- if you want adjustability, why not coilovers in the first place

I can't answer #'s 1 & 2 (LOL), but for #3... I assume he has an X.
Not everyone is as crazy as you, driving an S in the great white north.

There's no coil-over options for us AWD'ers yet.

S in the GWN? meh, A set of snows & you just have to know how to drive.
Yeah , it would be easier to help if we knew what model it is.

Ok.. just for your info.. not a G35X... yes i know the aligment and camber issue.. but the point is to keep the stock aligment just need to drop it during summer to look cool with rims. that is the whole point. i am just thinking if the top hat for the front suspension for our 2 gen fits the 1st gen or vise versa, i was planing to buy some 1st gen front suspension and put them on my 2nd gen as a spare set with drop springs on. that way when winter comes i can just swap the oem springs with struts and drop spring combo to get my stock height and stock aligment back for winter. that way i do not have to go get an aligment everytime winter comes and saves me from getting stuck in the snow. that is what i am up to. having to go to see your aligment specialist every 4 months is damn expensive and not many people wants to give you life time alignment for drop cars anyways.

If you change the suspension height, you WILL change the alignment.
It doesn't matter if it's OE parts or not

how do i put it.. i wan to keep the stock alignment.. if you drop the car yes ure alignment goes off but it keeps the stock alignment therefore if you need to change back to stock high the alignment doesn't go that much.. also i do my alignment check every other year. By the way the toe's and caster doesn't change much your camber is the one that changes alot when u drop your car..

Not a very good attitude from someone trying to looking for help... :/

And InTgr8r is right. All geometries change and not just camber.
