After 20,700 miles of driving and 1 year and 5 months of ownership, i have warped my front rotors. I took it to the stealer and no they will not cover under warranty. I'm thinking its a good time to get new slot/drilled rotors. Are there any slot or drilled or both rotors on the market for my car. 2008 g35xS sedan? I tried searching but found no definite answer, i beleive my rotors are same sized as regular g35 sedans even though I have the sport package.

Yes if I remember correctly the x rotors are similar to the standard g35 non x rotors. (don't quote me on that). I was in the same boat last week (30k miles and needing to resurface all 4 rotors and replace the pads). I was going to go completely aftermarket, however after a few hours of research I found stock was the best way to go. I really had my eyes on cross drilled/slotted rotors but after doing the research I'm not sure I would want to deal with the break dust they create. I also found out that the stock rotors would actually perform about the same as the extreme performance brakes (unless of course you go with a top of the line complete brake system). The stock pads are also very good because they create minimal dust and are fairly quiet. The stopping performance was on par with the aftermarket ones. Again this is just my 2 cents, but I figured to pay that much money for "looks" and no real performance gains was just a waste of my money that I could spend on other performance mods. Hope this helps but if you do have the money to burn, they sure do look extremely sweet!

Well on the contrary in my experience: i had my oem rotors warp around 25k and the brake dust was too much, i switched to D/S rotors and ceramic pads and could not be happier, the brake dust has reduced by over 90%(yes just a wild estimate no need to bring in scientific facts ) as before after couple of days my wheels would start showing the brake dust building up now i can literally go on couple weeks without literally noticing as the buildup is really light and minimal on the ceramic pads than oem.

FYI i have now had this "setup" for ~15000mi and everything is as solid and as good as new!!

So now its your decision
