Scott is certain on dropping his car already. He will go with eibachs. I havent decided yet :S

If you want a slightly less drop than eibachs, go with impuls. Only thing, its expensive.

I have seen Intgr's drop in person. It looks good. One thing to consider is, his car is an RWD, so the height might be a bit different on our X's since our cars are a bit heavier.

Tanabe's rear drop more than the front.

But this is the fix.

Come on Wes, you didn't like the eibachs from that little blast down the street?

I wanna see that thing dropped, with that exhaust, rims, etc...that would just finish her off nicely.

12K isn't too rough, as long as the dampener is matched correctly.

I'm not going with the Eibachs now that this is showing some real potential.
The Eibachs, along with camber kits will run me about $600-. Add that to the price of shocks/struts from premature wear ( I put a lot of miles on my car) and I think something around $1,000 is much more realistic for me.
I have no problem saving my coins and waiting for Spring if the drop is on coils.

This is most likely the direction I'm gonna go in, now that it's an option for us.

Scott I was under the impression that these coils is a big "?" for our Gen 2s.

Is there something I dont dont know? or these are likely gonna work from the way your getting at?

$1,000 is a good deal in my opinion.

No, I've got the same info you have but with there being a glimmer of hope, I'm not jumping on a set of springs until I have all the facts.

I would definitely invest the extra cash on coils if possible.
I'm just being patient so I can make the best informed decision.

oh gotcha...

what makes AWD coilovers different from the RWD ones? Is it the mounting points? or something else structurally?

and do we know for a fact that 1st gen and 2nd gen is about the same? roughly speaking that is?

I've emailed BC to ask about the 07+ sedan and if these will work.
I'll update you guys when I hear back.
If these are gonna work, it just may be an early Christmas present for me
