Didn't realise you drove a '05, this is my first G35 so I have no idea how they are compared to previouse ones in terms of handling

Well I say if they are available then forget 'em, I'm going JIC unless anyone can convince me otherwise

Where's the X love?!?
You know it's really odd I find it, because my previouse car was an Audi S3 and it too is 4wd but I had a huge selection to choose from, check it out:-----> http://00626e1.netsolhost.com/formos...erformance.htm go to the bottom where it says suspensions

On a side note, that site needs updating I've changed a few more things on the car

lol I'm fully Kuwaiti here
btw, i ordered the intake a few days ago so give it a few more days before it gets here. I'll write a short review with my fairly accurate butt dyno and let you know how it is

now I just need the Bullydog tuner and I'm set...for now...

Ok I think I know what's happened here see below

Ok I think this thread got side tracked a bit, I initially posted about how the car handles on straight bumpy or rough roads, as in steering feedback and the movement of the car. What I experience on straight bumpy roads is the the car leans into the bumps holes and the car generally moves in that direction, I have to constantly keep putting steering corrections to keep it straight, and I think I need to explain the speeds it's around 90mph and up, the motorways here are absolute $hite, no joke

I've dodged numerous coke cans being thrown out of windows,
dodged the $hitest drives you'll EVER encounter,
as well as dodging people crossing the damn road in front of you on the motorway!!! (this happened today for the first time) scared me ****less!! ,
humm had some guy near swipe me out clean in a roundabout.

I've become best friends with my horn and the flashing xenons,......Sorry I had to rant it really does get my bloody pressure boiling.

Oh forgot to say, on corners and not straight roads I would say the car right now generally understeers when pushed, so that needs sorting as well.

Oh and donpisto $2,000 for coilovers isn't quality!!! How much are these Ohlins? and first time I hear of them, but judging by my quick googly search they seem ace , know any stores that sell these?
Try 3k, I just got lucky and bought them at a discount for around 2k off a forum member. I'm not quite too sure honestly, but you can call up Ohlins. They are somewhere in the east, forgot exactly where, but customer service is top notch.

In regards to driving on a straight road, you say you have to make corrections when approaching bumps. Did it do this before or just recently? I'm guessing maybe its the road or if you dont have a grip on the wheel? No clue

Sweet, sounds good to me. I tried my dynolicouse a few days back to see if the HFCs gave me any gains, it gave me wrong readings, but I'll doing it again tomorrow so I'll let you know

well I have to make corrections after going over the bump or pothole not as I'm approaching it, and it only started happening with the ARBs I know it's them because I know how they would react, I was just wondering if springs alone/ coilover or braces would help eliminate this, I believe coilovers would.

Also I don't think my tires are in good shape, I was planning on changing them to some better quality rubber. I'll check the thread on the tires tomorrow. Thanks for the help and feedback though

Well let me chime in a little here! I have the Eibach Springs, with some GT Spec Braces. and Hotchkis Sways. Now I har some of you saying the car will ride bouncy with drop springs and OEM SHocks/Struts! Well I'm here to tell you my car does not bounce at all! at rides great, just a little stiffer. but no where near bouncy! And this is with the G37 19's.

Also, for the car steering into like ruts or following the ruff roads, seems to me that the wider the tire, the more prone to have this kind of action on ruff roads!

So hope that helps, so u can have either of the 3 you pick.all have thier cons and Negs. ALl about how much u want to spend! and my car handles awesome! and the roads here are not the greatest either!

humm thanks for your input Mike, but now you've just given me the other option to think over. I got my *** handed to me today by a Porsche Cayenne S, not on take off I let him pass, but as soon as we hit the corners at high speeds I could not keep up at all, the car started to oversteer. I actually realized something, if I take a close to 90 degree corner then the car tends to generally understeer, when taking long stretched out bends then the car oversteers.

Hmm, maybe it's because you're on the non-sport suspension that you're experiencing oversteer? When I was on the sport suspension and with only the Hotchkis, it was pretty much neutral (no under or oversteer).

Yeah Q8Y is right, the GCC spec cars have sport suspension.
Not sure how you can double check but it says it on the dealer spec sheet, along with VLSD which I have checked out by spinning the rear wheel when my car was on a lift...they both spun the same direction.
