I have the Ecsta LX platinum and feel the ride is too soft to be sporty. I have the Pilot Sport A/S Plus on two vehicles and they are excellent!

before you do, check out the aug 09 issue of Car and Driver. They tested 10 tires, including the Potenzas. the Hankook v12 evo's scored 2nd, the Potenzas were 4th and the v12's are much cheaper.
