I just had a loaner g37 non sport and noticed the brakes were freakin awsome compaired to my 08 non sport. are the brakes any different? does the 08 have the same ESP thing that the 09 has?

 

I have a feeling that the brakes must vary quite a bit from car to car, because the 2009 G37 loaner that I had last time had terrible brakes compared to my 2008... the pedal was mushy and the brakes required quite a bit more effort to modulate. Both cars had around 10K miles, so I don't think brake wear was a factor.

Can't wait to get my Akebono brakes installed, though, then I can really have a comparison bwtween all of the factory brakes offered.
