Review: Tanabe Sustec Pro S-OC Coilovers
I don't think I got those with mine to begin with. I believe the Tanabe manual suggested I use the stock ones (I think I bought new ones from the dealer, I can't remember). Contact the vendor you got these from and see what's up, but I'm almost sure these didn't come with mine.
Im trying to make decisionon either these tanabes or bc,i want good ride quality.I hear u cant adjust the dampening on the tanabes but the bc u can..So its really up in the air.I can get the bc for 925 with free shipping.Anybody have any opinions.
Hey so I just bought these and installed them on my stock 2004 g35 coupe and I wanted to slam my car. So this is the first time I've had any experience with coilovers, so I adjusted the plates higher to squeeze the springs in the front, because i thought that would make it go lower (because the spring height is lower) but when I released it off the jack, it was the same as stock height, and so I moved the plates all the way down and the spring was at max height, and this time it lowered it by a lot! So I was really happy with that. I then did the rears, but the rear is different because the plates go the opposite direction to lower the car. So it dropped the front a lot. My tires are already tucking. But the rears are barely noticable. It definitely lowered but maybe like 1mm? Is there a reason for this that someone can help me with? I am new to this and it's frustrating. Is it because that's the lowest setting it can go? Or what? Id like my rears to go even lower. Any suggestions? Thanks guys! By the way, it rides amazing! Way better than stock and stiffer on turns too! No body roll! Even though dampening is not adjustable, it's actually perfect the way it is! I love the way it drives! Im very impressed with the handling. Now I just need the rears to lower some more. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!
