Hi guys, I get a pretty loud squeak/creaking noise from my front suspension when going over speed bumps, it sounds like a dorm room mattress. Only does it on the front and only when I hit both wheels to get a nice bounce from the speed bump. I took it to the dealer but low and behold it wasn't making the noise that day (not complaining about the dealer, I couldnt get the noise to come out that day either). They lubed components anyways, but it never really went away.
Could this be bushings or stabilizer links going bad? Anyone else with a similar problem?

It could just be the sway bar bushings are a little dry & need re-greasing.

I get it series of popping sounds in my front left suspension everytime I start moving from a cold start and then on slow maneuvers on the street. I've already had my compression rod bushings replaced a few months back as well. Might try starting there and see what's going on.

Whoops, didn't see that this was under the 2nd gen. The suspension setup is similar though. At the same time you'd think nissan would learn from the mistakes with the 1st gen and make a suspension that will not only perform, but last a good while.

what kind of grease do u use for the bushing ? my car is making the same noise too
The bushings in the upper control arms can also be a source for squeeks. Specifically the ones between the chassis and the arm.

If the car was lowered I might have been able to help, but I'm guessing this is your stock suspension, right?

my car is making this noise too and I have Tanabe coilovers and Hotchkis sways. Any idea what grease should be used for the bushings? I have some silicone, lithium and some heavyweight grease in the garage. All made for rubber o-rings and metal/plastic friction areas.
Good thing we're talking about this because I bought some Comma Multipurpose Grease, it's just described as lithium based BLGI No.2 grease lol is that good enough to use on the ARBs?
