do you guys know what the stock camber specifications are from the factory? also, at what point is a camber kit necessary? i plan on doing a very mild drop (0.8") so i don't want to buy the kit if it isn't necessary.

Ok so bottom line is which is better and which gives you more adjust ability? the SPC kit?

 

Im currently and desperately in the market for a camber kit. Both front and rear. Can anyone point me in the right direction?! Coupe sport sus/tanabe df210

 

IMO, when you need more clearance for the wheels. camber won't be your culprit, it's the toe, so get that in spec. If you can't, buy toe bolts. If that doesn't help, then comes the 2nd reason to get a camber kit.

 

Between the Ichiba and SPC, I'd go SPC. I'd take SPC over everything except Battle Version. You can adjust those the most, and for whatever reason if you need to adjust a ton of camber (I highly doubt you'll need to unless you want butterfly wheels and get toe arms) then you can swap the rods for longer ones. That said you can get shorter ones and it would give you much more positive camber, but the ones that are made specifically for our cars would suffice, those are just options.

The only way to know for sure is to get an alignment after you lower it. The alignment specs are:

Toe spec is 0 - 0.08 degrees
camber spec is -1.1 - 0.4 degrees

from the service manual and the alignment shop should have them as well.
