Reusing TPMS, do I need new gaskets?

So i just got a set of new wheels form tirerack, and i got a call from they saying that if I plan on transferring my current TMPS over to these wheels I would need to purchase gaskets that sit the TMPS in place. They are $3 a piece.
Does anyone know if these gaskets are indeed necessary?

Thanx

I reused my old ones, but my set had only 6k miles on them.

I didn't need new gaskets. Swapped them over to a different set after ~22k miles on the OEM rims.
