Do 5mm spacers require longer wheelstuds?

Wondering if anyone knows this. Planning to run 5mm spacers front and rear on my '07 S sedan.

Thanks.

You should use extended studs with anything bigger than 3mm.

Sweet, thanks guys. I was on the fence about whether I'd need the longer studs.

For 12 x 1.25 mm studs, as long as you can get at least 8 full turns, you are safe.

On my past Nissan with the same studs, 5mm allowed for just under 10 turns.

Based on soundmike's post, you will need to perform the 8-turn test to be sure if you'll need longer studs or not.

8 turns. I don't even get 8 turns with no spacers. I've always gone off a 5 turn rule
