Q about Retrofitting Akebono's onto g37x....

Q about Retrofitting Akebono's onto g37x....

when purchasing this setup

do i have to buy dust shields, if so do i need F/R or both?

i'm just a little unclear about this...

The front dust shields will work without any modification or the need to remove it.

The rears can either be trimmed, removed or replaced. I trimmed (the lip) on mine and it works just as well.

On that link, just make sure you don't get the bracket - there's no need for it on the 2nd gen. They have it shown in their photos.

purchase them from CZP instead, much cheaper and for the same price you can get slotted or drilled rotors.

did you ever figure out if the Akebono's would fit the X? I'm picking one up this week and would like to add them as well.
