Thumbs down REO960a pole psoition tires

has any 1 had this experience ? I purchased a set of RE0960's 2 weeks ago. I was told they were all season sports rated tires. I have the g sports w/ the journey package. I have always had the original RE0950A on the vehicle. outstanding performance. I have been upwards of 140 mph while still handling like a baby.

Like I said I put the new 1's on 2 weeks ago. At 1st I was doing the slow thing...no real power., until I got on the freeway. Then I tried some of the same moves I have always done w/ my G...I mean I can hit cracks between 2 cars and never lose a beat. I mean absolutely no spin, no hesitation !! When I did, my back almost slid out from under me. I thot, may b just new tires, but it got worse. I could no longer take minor curves even @ 50 mph.

It got so bad, my stability sensor would go off..and never go out. Had 2 stop the car before it stopped itself. If any 1 does not know, if that traction control goes off and stays on, the car can eventually shut itself down.

I am returning the tires. They r not built for the sport. I was told they were. I mean the originals U may not get a warranty, & u may not b able 2 drive in snow. ( they have done well in the rain for me anyways) but there is such a difference in performance. I never would buy this tire for a sports car, which is what the G is. I mean, has any 1 ever heard of this tire performing this badly? If U have them on your car, I feel sorry for U...there is no way U r getting full handling capabilities outta your car. No way !! heck, there was no beamer or Lex...for that fact....that stood a chance w/ me. W/ these tires ? I wouldn't try a VW bug....

You should have done a search. I've been posting every chance I get to let people know not to get these tires. It would have saved you on shipping and installation. I'm getting the RE760 summer tires.

Thumbs up Re060

Man, I wish that I had, lucky I was purchased those tires from Tires Plus 2 which Bridge-stone owns. They give U a 30 day money back guarantee or a switch out on tires. I went back w/ the originals, the RE050's. All I had 2 do way pay the difference in what the cost was between the 2. So I'm back i the swing again. I can once again go 100 mph or faster hit a hole that is just large enuff for the car 2 fit thru, accelerate again and never miss a beat. These tires make all the difference on the car..truly remarkable tonke73. This tires were made for this car...and this car was made 2 spin beemers and lex's around.....thanks for this shout. I'll look where I'm supposed 2. It was a BMW owner that told me about these......
