Anyone tried this set of braces yet?

Seems like a really good deal for the entire brace set. It's funny how they're using the GTSpec on some of the photos.

^ true but for that price if they are of good quality and reasonably light it should not matter much since their function is basically to tie two points together.

That's what i was thinking. As long as they're PC'd well (assuming they are PC'd, not painted), welds are good and metal is decent, they should still provide a decent performance bump.

No, sway bars work differently. These tie up several points in the chassis to reduce chassis flex. Not very noticeable unless you push the car hard in corners.

I would say it's highly likely the GT spec stuff is made in china too

Its just machined aluminum or steel bars guys....

I paid big bucks for the Toyota TRD issue sway bars on my Lexus and they snapped eventually.

Its not like chassis braces are made from carbon fiber....

You should be ok..

I would just wonder on how well they are built and how well the fit on the car.

1 cm off and it would not work...

Its a good deal if they work...

^+1 they do offer a 100% guarantee on fitment, worse case scenario u ship it back for a refund, i would contact them first before ordering and get a confirmation email from them where they are willing to pay for return shipment IF the bars dont fit with pic evidence

Definitely offshore.
I had to order new chassis rivets when I sold my 6pt brace.
They told me they were waiting for the container to arrive.
It took 3 months.

I should have made myself clearer. I have no problem that they are made in China. I just wonder if the cost savings is worth the risk, the wait, and the potential problem of quality not being comparable to GT spec (inner bracing, paint, fitment, etc.) or even a sample defect. Are you really going to want to pay return shipping to china?

Did anyone add up the GT spec parts total for this kit? You probably are saving a good $300-400 but even the m-brace does not look like the current revision GT spec has. It does not help that they borrow GT spec pics instead of producing their own.

Check out my threads - I have 4 of the GTSpec braces. Perfect fit - installed and sold by dealer.

GT Spec warranties as well. I've been manufacturing promo items out of China for over 10 years - so I personally would spend the extra to GT Spec.

You will have ZERO issues.

I'm just saying.
