why would you even think of anything like that? its a totally different car and as is the G's sports suspension is better than the IS, so if you really wanna beef up your suspension for less than getting any AM parts, then just swap to used S suspension parts.

It's a straight swap!! Go for it. I'm installing the leaf springs from my Ford F250 diesel on my G next week. I want to up the towing capacity and payload. Just note you do need an adapter for the F250 springs if you choose to go the route I am

To the OP,

I honestly think that no one has tried it but that's because the chances are as close to zero as you could get that anything would interchange between the two cars.

Everyone is just poking fun at the question, myself included. No permanent harm intended. This forum is the best and has helped me make better purchases and get stuff installed. Don't let this first post make you think otherwise. I am sure that many of us have gotten "flamed" before. Welcome to forums.

It's the poor guy's first post and he's already taking a beating.

Short answer is, Nobody here has tried it (I don't believe) but I doubt it would work with any real level of success.
