but KYB Gr-2 (aka Excel-G) are known to be 10% stiffer than stock struts to compensate the spring wear at 60K-100K, when people usually change their struts.

I dont think anyone has the fronts besides the dealer., please let me know if anyone has made them. FYI they are definitely a lot stiffer than OEM.

 

So being 10% stiffer, they should be good paired with Eibach springs?

 

So KYB are the only shocks/struts made for the G35X? Any other site you can purchase other then tirerack, and discountautoshocks?

 

I found cheapest KYB GR2 for 2006 G35X at usautoparts.net. Not sure about newer models. They are considered oem replacements, not aftermarket upgrades. They also come only with the bare strut assembly and new top bolt. If any of your other parts need replacement, boots, mounts, insulators are extra. But, it is a pretty easy install, just slide out the old one and slide in the new one, depending on how easy you get the old one off.
