Just put on 2006 m35 sport rims on my g35x, tpms problems...

Headline says it all. I recently bought a set of 19" M35 sport rims that came with new tires. I wasn't sure if the owner left the tmps on them or not so I had my wheels shop guy test them before they put them on.

Sure enough they still had the tpms on them! Or so the shop said. After they were on they told me that after awhile the tpms will reset automatically?

Well so far I've started the car and drove around today five so six times and first the tp light never came on until about 5 minutes of driving... then it started blinking and stayed on. Then next few times it started blinking right away then it went away... now it blinks and stays on.

I'm confused, do I need to take it to Infiniti? I would like to resolve this before I sell my rims that have tpms that work...

I think you have to take it to any nissan or infiniti and they can "pair" the tpms with your car.

I don't think they'll work. You'll need new ones or to use your old ones

Are you serious? where are you getting this information from? This doesn't make much sense to me... Never have I heard of this...

just take it to the dealer and reset it to your system and you will be good to go.

I have a wheel and tire distribution center and I sell sensors on a daily basis. This is the info from the company I buy my sensors from. And not being a smartass but they do change parts from time to time. Not everything is universal. For instance, 2007 Escalade sensors don't work on a 2008. I'm not 100% but call the dealer and check part numbers.

I took this yesterday with my phone after it had been raining. Excuse the dirty car, the weather has sucked this week!

That looks amazing. I found a guy local with those wheels with tires selling them for 300. Have em on my 03 g35 sedan and love em. Grip the road like crazy I just need to get some hubcentric 5mm wheel spacers for the front. Im using some cheap oriellys 5mm spacers for the front atm. I might use a 5mm spacer on the rear to make it even all the way around. Kinda on the fence about adding rear spacers just for looks.

I have the same setup and recently found out the dealer reset mine (lucky me for free). Those tpms sensors WILL work on your car after being programmed. There is a DIY for setting them yourself somewhere as well.
