Sizing/offset help please

I've been searching for a few days and haven't found the info, including on the wheel and suspension database document stickied on this site. I've tried the calculators on 1010tires.com and wherever else as well but still can't make a determination on this so any help is welcome.

Will 18"x9" with a +30 offset and a 245 width tire work on the rear of a V36 sedan?

Thanks in advance.

yes... now you need to find the 2nd number in the tire size to make it fit.

in order for you to use the calculator on 1010tires, you first need know the OEM tire size. 245/45/18 (for example) = 245 mm tire width/ the 2nd number is the % of the 1st number/and the 3rd is rim diameter in inches. Now use the calucaloter to find the OEM wheel/tire's overall rolling diameter so you can try to match that rolling diameter within 3%. Whether the new tire is 3% bigger or smaller is up to you and yuour options.

the good thing about the 1010tires calculator is that it converts mm/inches for you . what you need to do is put your OEM specs into the 1st size you want to compare see what other sizes match the overall rolling diameter. now it does not have to match perfectly. As long as its within 3% of OEM size, the tires "should" fit. reason i say should is that we have not accounted for lowering/spacers/etc.

Yeah it's the OEM size for a sedan, 245/45 I should have mentioned that. It's just the width and offset of the wheel that concerns me.

EDIT: The calculator states it will have 14mm more clearance inside and push it out 26mm more on the outside if that helps anyone.
