Finally BCs are installed. wow it's too low.
I have to make some adjustments tomorrow. Right now it's as low as it will go the fronts. the rears can still go lower:eek: It was quite a project b/c it's so freaking hot. I couldn't find a tape measure so I couldn't measure. Can someone give me some numbers to shoot for. I found some people are about 13.5 inches from center of wheel to fender. It took some time b/c it was hard to elongate the bolt holes for the new toe bolts that came with the spc camber kit. I only put the camber kit in the rear. I was told i don't need it in the front:confused2:
here are the pics. sorry it got late. I m old. 39 http://i530.photobucket.com/albums/d...7/coils001.jpg http://i530.photobucket.com/albums/d...7/coils002.jpg http://i530.photobucket.com/albums/d...7/coils003.jpg http://i530.photobucket.com/albums/d...7/coils004.jpg http://i530.photobucket.com/albums/d...7/coils005.jpg http://i530.photobucket.com/albums/d...7/coils006.jpg http://i530.photobucket.com/albums/d...7/coils007.jpg http://i530.photobucket.com/albums/d...7/coils008.jpg I can't wedge my finger between the fender the tire. My wheels will be done in a week but I will be out of town so I won't be able to install them for 2 weeks. |

Is it too low?
|
That only you can answer.
Drive around, if you like it keep it |
I m afraid it wont go back on lift.lol

That's the beauty of having coils - you can always adjust that height besides the firmness - just too pooped to get back under the lift tonight eh?
What's the height from the ground to the top middle of the fender - like 26"? 24" is slammed and then some. 25" - 26" is pretty low but manageable. When I dropped low, I also took off my mudguards and splashguards. Sedan looks much better without them besides. |
I think it looks good... You minimized the wheel gap and not tucking... Thats what I was shooting for when i put my coils on... I'm still on stock 17's but I may go lowere when I get some wheels...
I'd like to mention that my ride is comfy and I don't scrape on anything (but I do try to avoid speed bumps at all times if possible)... |
Looks sick, you need front camber kit more then the rears. With no front kit your tires won't last to long if you drive alot and i would get front and rear camber kit asap.

You don't have any ruler's at home?
|
Looks good, also the Rx7 is beautiful. I see the Miami Dolphins sign are you local? Must be nice to have a lift in your garage.
