Everyone's opinion is different so what I would suggest is once you have them installed set the dampening to the middle position and adjust from there. If it's too stiff soften it up a bit and if it's too soft, make it firmer. I set my fronts a touch firmer that the rears to account for the weight of the motor. Works great!!

PS watch putting the coils on your seat like that. You are asking for a tear in the leather with the bracket positioned like it is.

The fronts come pre-loaded, unless you started moving things around. The rears you'll have to do yourself.

If your rears sag, just increase the height to compensate. Although the springs are fairly stiff, at least on my non-X it never sagged after i made the final height adjustment.

the "sag" people are talking about is when the car is at full height. The spring is just not long enough for the rear. If you think it has a saggy butt, lower the front some to even it out.

if you say the kit is for an X for awd they add spacers that you put between the spring and the adjustable part in the back

just to clarify, the BC kit should have 255 springs for the rear? I am looking at these coilovers but I am not looking for a major drop. ground clearance is a major concern. Anyone know what the min. amount these lower the car?

Well when I first got the coils (btw I had the very first ones "prototypes") they didnt have the spacers. I guess they got enough complaints about the saggy butt, they started using the spacer. As for me, I do really need them, guess I like to ride lower than you guys.
