2009-2011 G37 Convertible** (HV36) – Non-Sport models only

**Vehicles equppied with single-piston front calipers ONLY
APPLIED VINS 2007-2008 G35 Sedan: All
& DATES: 2008-2010 G37 Coupe & G37 Convertible: All

2011 G37 Coupe – AWD Vehicles built before: JN1CV6EL(*)BM 264118 / 13-Jul-2011

IF YOU CONFIRM

While traveling forward or backward at a slow speed, a squeal or sqeak noise is coming from the front brakes
when braking.

ACTION

Replace both front brake caliper sliding pins (one on each side of the vehicle) with the ones listed in the Parts
Information.

I have the some problem when driving backward,i tought it was pads but i guess no. called my dealer to see if they have part in stock.

Thank you for this info. This looks different than the TSB posted on myg37 for the same issue. TSB numbers are different at least. http://www.myg37.com/forums/tsb-tech...eak-noise.html

i tried going to the dealer for the TSB listed on myg37 and they said no because the number of pistons on my caliper was different. I have an XS. Will this one apply to me?

My brakes squeal constantly under medium braking and low speeds!

The tsb from myg37 doesnt apply to your car. Try this one,it will help since they will put new pads.

i see it all states in bold "single piston caliper only." thats what it states on the myg37 one. What brakes are single and what brakes arent?

This is only for the Sport brakes on the G35 sedans and the non-sport brakes on the G37 coupes, PERIOD.

There was never a G35 X model that had Sport brakes, even the XS.

Im still waiting to do this TSB because they need to replace my steering wheel and right padel shifter is lose and this parts on backorder.

yup, theyve already done that. im going to make another appt and see if I can demand a fix. new pads at least. the noise is driving me bananas
