Recommendations - Pads and Rotors

It's about time to replace pads and rotors on my X. It's a daily driver, but I do enjoy some spirited driving, and I really value good realiable stoping power and feel. My brakes now feel pretty spongey, and the dealer recently said its about time to replace front and back.

These rotors look pretty nice and seem to have good reviews:

I guess I'm just not sure on what I really need. Do I even need D/S, or should I go with a blank rotor? I don't want excessive wear on the rotors or pads, but I do like stopping power.

I was thinking SS brake lines would be a good option to firm up the pedal feel, but would I be better off from a return on investment perspective by just getting the new rotors and pads.

P.S. First thought on pads is to go with Hawk HPS. Never had them but they seem like a good fit.

Well, u know u can get a whole kit (rotors D/S, posiquite pads , ss, and brake fluid) for 500. That's how much I paid for mine..
I could tell the difference between the OEM items and my new stuff. Stopping was a lot better.. no brake fade or anything thus far.

That's what I'm looking for hopefully, a full kit that would be a bit cheaper than piece by piece. How do you like those Posiquite pads? How's the bite and dust? What about the rotors?

No dust if any.. As far as the rotors go.. I have not had any problems out of them.. they are actually stoptech rotors.. and the bite is on point.. very nice after they get warmed up.. stops on a dime.. I sprayed the center hub black.. Did that after the car wash guy put some type of cleaner on the rotors that ate the coating off the rotors.. That stopped the rust looking color off

I wouldn't get anything but the r1 concepts premium of the ocautosports ones. Most of the others out there are pretty crappy. I'm happy with my hawk PC pads as well, running OC autosports slotted/drilled fronts and brakeperformance xdrilled/slotted on the rear (They are definitely not as good, rusting even with paint, but got them for cheap from another member on here).

The ocautosports onces on the front still look like new, no rust anywhere.
