20x8.5 +30f on 245/35 and 20x10 +38r on 275/30

Been searching and reading through a lot of wheel specs threads etc and have seen the nice list of forum member wheel/drop specs that terrycs maintains (thank you btw). Based on that I think I've settled on my ideal wheel specs but wanted to get sign off from a few of you off-set gurus. My 08 Sedan is a DD and will be dropped on BC Coilover (on order and will be installed in a few weeks). My plan with the BC Coilover is to drop between 1-1.5 inches, nothing too aggressive. I want a nice thick stance with wheels even with fenders or possibly sitting out just a touch. Not going for the super tucked look since its my DD and I'll be keeping the camber in spec also. Looking to get that nice clean look. Here's what I'm thinking:

Front - 20x8.5 +30 on 245/35 (Yokohama S.Drive)
Rear - 20x10 +38 on 275/30 (Yokohama S.Drive)

I could go with +38f and +42r but my worst fear is that I get wheels that are set in from the fender. But at the same time I don't want them sticking out too far considering I'm keeping camber in spec and not slamming it to the ground.

What do yall think? Any recommendations appreciated...thanks in advance.

You don't have to worry about any poking. Your fronts and rears will both be really tucked. Look at my pics and you will have a good idea. Mines are 20x8.5 32+F, 20x10 36+R and I'm tucked. I would by 20mm spacers for both if I weren't selling my car.

I think those are perfectly good sizes.

For comparison, my rears here would be equivalent to yours as far as flushness, you'll have 12mm more clearance on the suspension side of things as well.

Your fronts will retract by 5mm compared to this set-up, but yours may look a bit more flush because your wheel width is a perfect match to your tire size. Mine looks a bit stretched since the tires are a tad too narrow for the wheel.

I'd say a +25 in the rear. 38 sounds sunken in to me.. I'm slammed and my rear specs are 19x10 +25.

Thanks for the feed back soundmike. Your ride is sick. Love the rennens. Did you sell em yet?

The wheel outfitter I'm buying from is guaranteeing fit with +38 all around. I may just go with the +30f +38r and forgo the guaranteed fit. Means I gotta be sure I like the wheels.

Thanks again!

Thanks for the feedback apexi, I wont be slammed, just a nice conservative drop. Do you run camber? I plan on keeping camber close to spec.

I think it really depends on how much camber you're running. With your specs, the first set of Rennen rears i got was sticking out noticeably and rubbing on 285s. With the corrected offsets, they fit perfectly and is where his specs are above.

Then again, you're slammed , i'm only dropped roughly the same as Eibach's.

Thanks and you're welcome. The Rennens will be sold soon.

Yes I am running camber. I have around -3 all around, but i do plan to dial less camber soon.

That's true as well, but I think 38 is a tad bit high.

You'll be fine. That would be the same as my old Rennen's at 8.5 +24.

Compared to my Enkei's at 9.5 +38, yours will extend an additional 2mm. I've had the Enkei's with an additional 5mm spacer (IOW, yours would then retract by 3mm) and it's still fine.

While we're on the topic do you think these would fit our sedans? Thinking of ways to "invest" my bonus

Front: 20x9 255/30/20 +32
Rear: 20x10.5 305/25/20 +45

The fronts may be tucked a little more in comparison to the rears, but with a little bit of camber i think those rears will fit just fine even at 305.
