I have an '07 platinum graphite sedan, and just cannot find some wheels that blow my mind. Currently it's completely stock, but will be getting tint + coils soon, just want to figure out what look I'm going for, I'm stuck on the wheels
I had in mind ssr profesor ms1's or enkei rpm2's..... opinions, suggestions.
Anything similar or anything you think would look good?

 

Everyone has their own choices in rims and what 'blows their mind' so i think you pretty much have to spend hours and days searching the gazillion rims on the net on your own until you find what youre looking for, much like waht most of us did before getting the rims we liked.

There are tons of mesh type wheels like the professors and enkeis you mentioned. First thing to do is set your budget. The professors are about 4 times more, but you get a custom wheel. Then figure out if you want a custom wheel or not. You'll get custom offsets and finishes, but they usually cost more and have 3 month or longer turn around time. The budget and custom/off the shelf decisions will guide you a lot and help narrow down companies and styles. Then look at things such as forged vs. cast if you're into saving weight. If you're going to lower your car, then you will need to consider that the offsets that look right can be different than for a stock ride height car. Just take your time and look at as many rims as possible, especially in person if you can.

 

Searching for the "right" wheels is a tedious process! Weight, size ,width, offsets, finish, price...so many things to consider. surfjax87 is right, make sure and set a budget. Don't forget to budget for the add ins that will bump up the price such as new lugs, hubcentric rings, center caps and potentially mountnig and shipping if you're buying tires with it. I took me about a year to finally decide on wheels!
