So I had a broken TPS in the past and I had the dealer fixed the problem under warranty. And today I just mounted on some new rims that had no TPS sensors in them and the TPS light never came on. My question is, is it possible that the dealership disable my TPS system on my car just so they did not have to replace the senor?

 

Sometimes it takes a few days for that light to pop up. Wait for it!

 

If you drive over 30 miles straight the light will come on. I never heard of a way to disable the TPMS, if there is I would disable mine.

 

I hope it doesn't pop up cause I hate tps.

 

Ditto. Instead of just requiring it, they should have given users the option to disable it and also have the option for users to pair the sensors to the car instead of the dealer doing it.

Everyone was right the light came on while i was driving on the freeway today.
