Slip Light, Brake light etc.....

So after googling this problem I checked my fluid and it was a little low but still above the Min indicator..So I filled it up, started my car and the lights are stlll on. So do I just need brakes then? Just unclear how my car knows I need pads?

I had the same issue last summer. I flushed the brakes and installed new fluid. It's gone now. After that I had the check engine lite go one and stay on. They did a smoke test and replaced a little do da and everything is fine. My G is dealer serviced and I have no issues after 5 years of dealing with them. Good Luck. I just installed Hawk pads and left the fluid alone.

The sensor doesn't know if it is bad or old. There are no electronic sensors on the pads either. It is not always a brake fluid level concern that can cause all these lights. I have seen at times when you take the master cylinder reservoir cap off, slide the little screen out of the hole and the level sensor sometimes can get stuck. This may be something else you can check as well. Hope this helps...

Happens mostly when it's cold..Sometimes when it warms up it goes away..I'll have to check when It gets warmer maybe...Annoying..Why couldn't the fluid just be low like everyone else.
