q50 wheels

The crappo tires that came on my car are new have runout. Was going to by new tires but saw a set of 17's (same size as mine) wheels/tires from a q50. The info from these wheels look similar to the '07 G35 sedan but wanted to be sure before spending $$$.

For the Q50 wheels
Rim Brand: FACTORY Offset: 45
Rim Material: Alloy Number of Bolts: 5
Rim Width: 7.5 Bolt Pattern: 5x114.3
Rim Diameter: 17

Why not just get new tires on the wheels you have? If you're going to spend money on new wheels, do you really it to be on just another set of 17's ??

Yeah, it's just a commuter so not looking for bigger wheels. I can pay $800 - 900 to have Michelin Pilots installed or can pay $800 + shipping for new wheels/tires from takeoffs.

Although just checked the sale and they are Bridgestone runflats. I'll have to think about that. Had run flats on another car before and they rode like rocks.

Don't forget about TPMS and shipping costs.

I agree, I don't care for runflats either.

Actually, the TPMS are included (assuming they are compatible with the G35). Since I spent $$ for a new one about 6 months ago, new ones are tempting.

I'm sure they are the updated ones which are not compatible with our older TPMS system. The change happened around '10 or '11.

Thanks for the warning. Looks like it was changed around '11 or '12 according to the parts numbers. Makes it less of a bargain then.
