Hey guys, I had mentioned in a post that I'd like for my car to sound like the stock 350Z OR like the 2005 model style G35 coupe. (I don't know their model years)

I don't care about power, a friend of mine told me I could take it to a muffler shop and they could take off the resonator. By doing this I would get the effect I'd like.

Is this true?

I swore I wouldn't be modding this car, but the sound needs just that little bit.

Maybe I won't do it after all, but I'd at least like to know my options.
